News from the Child Developer Program (CDP) and the Preschool Consultation Project (PCP)

Current and founding members of the Preschool Consultation Project met for dinner and a discussion of the history of the group and brainstormed ideas for future outreach.

On Saturday, January 26th, 2013, we look forward to hearing Dr. Stephanie Pass, a Clinical Psychologist and Infant Mental Health Specialist, and Janet Green-Babb PT, a Pediatric Physical Therapist talk about: A Sense of Self in Time and Space: Physical and Emotional Development in Preschoolers with Autism and other Neurodevelopmental Disor- ders. This workshop is for mental health professionals who work with young children and their families and early child- hood educators.

Additionally the Preschool Consultation Project members continue to have our monthly meetings, where we are focus- ing on the theme of helping parents understand and cope with aggression in their preschooler.
