>> Friends Low Fee Clinic Psychotherapy Referral List

Low Fee Referral List

The Friends maintain a list of psychodynamic/psychoanalytic clinicians in private practice who accept low fee referrals. Our list of clinicians varies from pre-licensed to licensed. Members of the Friends who are interested in being on the referral list for low fee psychotherapy cases should complete this form. Debbie Vuong,
MFT maintains the referral list and  manages the referral process.

To make a low fee referral to the list, you can either contact Ms. Vuong (415-290-3829) to discuss a particular referral. Alternatively you can give her phone number directly to patients though it is helpful to explain to patients that Ms. Vuong will need to ask them some questions about their situation and will then be making a referral.

>> Volunteer Pool

The Friends have established a list of members with one of the following volunteer interests:

1) Conference volunteers who are interested in volunteering at programs to help with registration, CE, etc. in exchange for free admission.

2) Committee volunteers who have an interest in serving on one of a variety of SFCP or Friends committees as openings become available. Examples of committees where volunteers currently serve include the SFCP Year Long Planning Committees, the SFCP Library Committee, specific SFCP program planning committees, the Friends Special Events Committee, the Friends Conversations on Culture Committee, and Coordinators for our Study Group Clearinghouse, Mentoring Program, Clinical Forum, Low Fee Referral List, and Volunteer Pool.

Debora Fletcher, Ph.D. is serving as the Friends volunteer coordinator and can be contacted with questions at 415-248-1658. If you'd like to receive email announcements about volunteer opportunities as they arise, please indicate your interest via email to friends@sf-cp.org.
